Port Forwarding - Camera

1. Open Your Web Browser (i.e. Internet Explorer, or Firefox etc…)

2. Type in your Router's IP Address in your browser's web address bar. (i.e. http://192.168.0.1).  If you do not know your Router's IP Address follow these instructions below to find it:

a. Click START (Windows Only)
b. Click RUN
c. Type in: “cmd” in the open field and click OK
d. When the new window appears (black window) type “ipconfig” and press ENTER
e. A list of numbers should appear in the window.  The numbers that appear after Default Gateway will be the IP Address of your Router. 
f. Copy that number and type it in your web browser. (remember to use “http://” in front of the numbers)

Press Enter.
 
 

 
3. The Main Menu will appear in your web browser. Click on Setup / Configuration.
 
 

 
4. Select Advanced Setup in the left menu of the Set Up / Configuration.
 
 

 
5. The Advanced Setup settings will appear in the content. Click Begin Advanced Setup.
 
 

 
6. Select the Application Level Gateway link in the Advanced Setup menu on the left.
 
 

 
7. Enable the User radio button, and click New button. Under Rule Management:
 
 

 
8. In the Rule Managment fields, enter:
Rule Name: HRCamWeb
Protocol: TCP
Port Start: 80
Port End: 80
Port Map: 80
(If your port is used by another device, use another port protcol, ie. 81)
Then click Apply.

Enter the second port for your Camera:
Rule Name: HRCamVid
Protocol: TCP
Port Start: 5000
Port End: 5000
Port Map: 5000
(If your port is used by another device, use another port protcol, ie. 5001)
Then click Apply.

You will should see the two entries at the bottom field. Click Back at the bottom the screen.
 
 

 
9. Now in the LAN Device field, select your computer. Click Add. Select the application you just created in the Available Rules list, and click Add>> to Aplpied Rules list.

Finally, click Save and Restart at the left menu in the Advanced Setup. Congratulations, you are now set!
