Port Forwarding - Gateway

1. Open Your Web Browser (i.e. Internet Explorer, or Firefox etc…)

2. Type in your Router's IP Address in your browser's web address bar. (i.e. http://192.168.0.1).  If you do not know your Router's IP Address follow these instructions below to find it:

a. Click START (Windows Only)
b. Click RUN
c. Type in: “cmd” in the open field and click OK
d. When the new window appears (black window) type “ipconfig” and press ENTER
e. A list of numbers should appear in the window.  The numbers that appear after Default Gateway will be the IP Address of your Router. 
f. Copy that number and type it in your web browser. (remember to use “http://” in front of the numbers)

Press Enter.

 
 

 

3. A login dialog box should open, as shown below.

Enter the Username and Password you have set for your router in the dialog box. By default, the Username is "admin", and the Password field is blank. Click Log In to open your router's administration page.

 
 

 

4. Click the Advanced menu near the top of the page.

 
 

 

5. On the left menu, click the Port Forwarding button.

 
 

STEP 5a: OPEN A WEB PORT

Check the box to enable the entry.
In the Name field, type "HRGatewayWeb" for your gateway. This will assign a name to the device whose web port you are opening.
In the IP Address field, enter your Server IP Address. (How to Find your Server IP Address).
Select the Application Name.
Select the Computer Name.
In the TCP field, enter port 80. If port 80 is unavailable, enter another port number (for example: port 81).
Iin the Schedule field, select Always.

Click Save Settings at the top of the page to save your changes.
