1. Open Your Web Browser (i.e. Internet Explorer, or Firefox etc…)
2. Type in your Router's IP Address in your browser's web address bar. (i.e. http://192.168.1.1). If you do not know your Router's IP Address follow these instructions below to find it:
a. Click START (Windows Only)
b. Click RUN
c. Type in: “cmd” in the open field and click OK
d. When the new window appears (black window) type “ipconfig” and press ENTER
e. A list of numbers should appear in the window. The numbers that appear after Default Gateway will be the IP Address of your Router.
f. Copy that number and type it in your web browser. (remember to use “http://” in front of the numbers)
Press Enter. |

A login dialog box should open, as shown below.
Enter your Username and Password in the dialog box. By default,
the Username is admin, and the Password
is admin. Click OK to open your router's administration
page.

4. Your router's administration page should open, as shown below.
Click the Advanced tab located in the horizontal
navigation bar to open a new set of links along the left menu
bar.

5. In the new
set of links, click the Virtual Server link
to open the Virtual Server page,which is shown below.

STEP 6: OPEN A WEB PORT
In the Rule Name field, type "HRGatwayWeb"
for your Gateway. This will assign a name to the device whose
web port you are opening.
In the Private IP field, enter your camera's
Local IP Address.
(How to Find
your Local IP Address)
In the Protocol Type field, select TCP.
Enter port 80 in the Port Start field.
If port 80 is unavailable, enter another port number (for
example: port 85).
Then enter the same port number in the Port End field. (It is highly recommended that you enter
the same port number in the Port Start field as you entered
in the Port End field.)
Lastly, enter the same port number in the Port Map field. (Again, it is highly recommended that you enter
the same port number in the Port Start field as you entered
in the Port End field.)
Click Apply to
save your changes.

7. Congratulations! Your HomeRemote's port assignments should
now appear in the Virtual Servers list.
