Port Forwarding - Gateway

1. Open Your Web Browser (i.e. Internet Explorer, or Firefox etc…)

2. Type in your Router's IP Address in your browser's web address bar. (i.e. http://192.168.0.1).  If you do not know your Router's IP Address follow these instructions below to find it:

a. Click START (Windows Only)
b. Click RUN
c. Type in: “cmd” in the open field and click OK
d. When the new window appears (black window) type “ipconfig” and press ENTER
e. A list of numbers should appear in the window.  The numbers that appear after Default Gateway will be the IP Address of your Router. 
f. Copy that number and type it in your web browser. (remember to use “http://” in front of the numbers)

Press Enter.

 
 

 

3. A login dialog box should open, as shown below.

Enter the Username and Password you have set for your router in the dialog box. By default, the Username is "admin", and the Password is "password." Click OK to open your router's administration page.

 
 

 

4. You will then be brought to a Web page which contains several menu items. This is your router's administration page.

Under the Advanced menu on the left, click on the Port Forwarding.

 
 

Click the Add Custom Service button.

 

 

5. Click Enabled.
In the Service Name field, type in HRGatewayWeb.
In the Starting Port field, enter 80. If port 80 is used by another program, please select a different port number, such as, port 81.
In the Ending Port field, enter the same number you entered in Starting Port.
In the Server IP Address field, enter the Gateway IP address (How to Find your HomeRemote Gateway IP Address).

Click on Apply.
