Follow the instructions below to upgrade your original HomeRemote Gateway:
Step 1
From within your home, open your internet web browser and enter the IP address of your HomeRemote Gateway into the web address bar (Default IP Address: http://192.168.1.230).

Step 2
Enter your login credentials to access the Home Status page (Default Login: User: admin / Password: 1234).

Step 3
Click the Setup tab located at the top menu.

Step 4
Click Reset Z-Wave Home Network. You may also click Reset HomeRemote Gateway, however you may lose your IP Address here if it's configured as something other than the default (http://192.168.1.230).
After Resetting your Z-Wave Home Network you will also need to manually delete all modules from your network. To do this simply take your original HomeRemote handy remote and while within 5 feet of your module, press ‘Delete’ on the remote, then press ‘Program’ on the module. The green LED on your handy remote should turn solid confirming the removal of that module from your network. Repeat these steps for ALL modules in your original system.

Step 5
After the system has been reset, click Setup to enter the setup menu again. Then click the Firmware Updates tab.

Step 6
Click here (right click and save link as...) to download the HomeRemote Pro firmware and save it to a location on your computer that you will remember.

Step 8
After the firmware has been upgraded successfully, download the HomeRemote Pro Internet Gateway’s Getting Started Guide here and logon to http://pro.homeremote.net to create an account. Your Product Key is located on the bottom of your Gateway and should be listed as “MAC:”

We hope you enjoy using the new HomeRemote Pro System. If you have any questions regarding the setup process please contact support at 888.202.3344.
