- Missing images for Area and Room setup has been resolved
- Cell Link setup issues resolved
If you have not installed your HomeRemote Gateway yet you do not need to worry
about this update. The Setup Wizard process will automatically load your Gateway
with the latest software udpates.
If you have an existing HomeRemote System you will need to upgrade to this latest
version manually or through the web mangement menu.
To do this logon to your HomeRemote Home Status page from a web browser. If you
are doing this from your home where your HomeRemote System is installed you will
need to type in the IP Address of your HomeRemote Gateway: (i.e. default IP: http://192.168.1.230) into the web address field in your web browser.
The login and password is your Email address and your chosen password.
Click on the SETUP menu and choose Upgrade Firmware
There should be a link that says Check for New Firmware that will automatically
download and install your firmware upgrade. If this link does not work that means
you have an older version of the software and need to upgrade the firmware manually.
You can download the file here to do this: http://www.hawkingtech.com/downloads.php?file_id=3564
After you've downloaded the file click on BROWSE in the Firmware Upgrade page
and select the "0802.bix" file that you just downloaded and upgrade.
Note: This procedure MAY reset your Gateway to default settings and remove your
installed modules. You will need to reconfigure your Gateway from the Setup Page
if this occurs.
Thank You
