1. Open a Web browser. 2. Type in your Router's IP Address in your browser's web address bar. (i.e. http://192.168.0.1).  If you do not know your Router's IP Address follow these instructions below to find it: a. Click START (Windows Only) b. Click RUN c. Type in: “cmd” in the open field and click OK d. When the new window appears (black window) type “ipconfig” and press ENTER e. A list of numbers should appear in the window.  The numbers that appear after Default Gateway will be the IP Address of your Router.  f. Copy that number and type it in your web browser. (remember to use “http://” in front of the numbers) After you retrieve and enter your Router's IP Address in your browser, press Enter.
2. In the login dialog box, enter your Username and Password. By default, the Username should be left blank and the Password is admin. Click OK to open your router's administration page.
3. Your router's administration page will look something like the image below. Click the Advanced button located in the upper-right corner of the Status page to open a new page.
4. A new page opens, as shown below, that displays a horizontal row of tabs at the top of the page. Click on the Filters tab. Locate the Block Wan Request radio buttons at the bottom of the page, and select the Disable button. Click Apply to save the changes you made on this page. Click the Forwarding tab at the top of the page to open the Port Range Forwarding page.
5. In the Port Range Forwarding section of the page, locate the Customized Applications column. In the first empty text field in the Application column, type in what you want to name your hawking device. Such as: Hawk_cam1 In the Ext. Port column directly to the right, enter the Starting Port number in the entry field labeled Start, and the Ending Port number in the entry field labeled End. It is prefered that you use port numbers 80 ~ 80 for your Web access, 5000 ~ 5000 for Video access. And if your HawkingTech product supports audio use port numbers 5001 ~ 5001. Place a check in the Protocol TCP checkbox. In the IP Address field, enter your HawkingTech device IP Address. (How to Find your Local IP Address) Make sure that the Enabled checkbox is checked. Click Apply at the bottom of the page to save your changes. Congratulations. you've done it!
