    Linksys RT042

    1. Open a Web browser.

    2. Type in your Router's IP Address in your browser's web address bar. (i.e. http://192.168.0.1).  If you do not know your Router's IP Address follow these instructions below to find it:

    a. Click START (Windows Only)
    b. Click RUN
    c. Type in: “cmd” in the open field and click OK
    d. When the new window appears (black window) type “ipconfig” and press ENTER
    e. A list of numbers should appear in the window.  The numbers that appear after Default Gateway will be the IP Address of your Router.
    f. Copy that number and type it in your web browser. (remember to use “http://” in front of the numbers)

After you retrieve and enter your Router's IP Address in your browser, press Enter.

    2. In the login dialog box, enter your Username and Password. By default, the Username should be left blank and the Password is admin.

Click OK to open your router's administration page.

    3. Your router's administration page should look something like the image below. Click the Advanced Settings tab located in the horizontal navigation bar to open a new set of links below the Advanced Settings tab. On the new set of links, click on Forwarding.
