Customer Service Rebate Recertification
Date Published: 2009-03-12
Dear Valued Customer,
This is an official message from Hawking Technologies, Inc.
The third party rebate processing company that was responsible for processing
rebate claims and issuing mail-in rebate checks on behalf of Hawking Technologies,
Inc. (and other companies) has filed a Chapter 11 Bankruptcy petition. The funds
provided to them by Hawking Technologies, Inc. (and other companies) apparently
are no longer available to satisfy the rebate checks such company issued on behalf
of Hawking (and other companies). Regrettably, as a result, you SHOULD NOT cash
the refund check you recently received as these checks will likely BOUNCE. This
issue has come to our attention recently and we are taking immediate steps to
ensure that this does not happen again. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience,
delay or confusion this may cause.
Here is what you need to do:
If you are holding a rebate check for a Hawking Technologies, Inc. product, including
the HomeRemote Pro product line, DO NOT CASH THE CHECK. Make a photocopy of your check for your own records. Mail the original check
to Hawking Technologies, Inc. headquarters along with a printout of this notice
with your exact mailing address and contact information, including your email
address.
Mail to:
Hawking Technologies, Inc.

own records. Mail back the returned check to Hawking Technologies along with a
print out of this notice and your contact information including your email address.
We will immediately reissue another check for you.
If you have submitted a valid rebate before 11/30/2008 and have not received
