Hawking begins shipping the HomeRemote System

Monitor, Secure, and Control Your Home Locally or From Anywhere in the World
IRVINE, CA - May 23, 2007 - Hawking Technologies, Inc., a leading developer of
innovative home automation, wireless networking and security solutions for home
and business users, announced that it has begun shipments of its long awaited
HomeRemote™ home control system today. HomeRemote is an affordable, easy-to-use system that lets users control their
household appliances and lighting both from within their homes and from anywhere
in the world via a standard Internet web browser or mobile phone. For added security, HomeRemote also allows users to monitor their home with live
video from HomeRemote Wireless Video Cameras (HRNC1). HomeRemote lets even the most inexperienced users tailor their homes for personal
comfort and control within minutes. The HomeRemote System (HRGZ1) consists of an Internet Gateway and a handheld
remote control for convenient, in-home control of lighting and appliances.
Real World Applications
The HomeRemote system utilizes Z-wave technology, an award-winning, reliable

devices, including lighting and climate controls, video cameras for monitoring
and security, garage door openers, and many others. With HomeRemote, not only can users monitor and control their devices, but they

The HomeRemote System can be accessed through any internet web browser by entering
a custom user selectable domain name, such as www.myhome.homeremote.net. The web interface is organized by the rooms in a home and the devices within
those rooms. HomeRemote is also accessible through a mobile phone using the HomeRemote Cell
Link service. Cell Link allows users to navigate an intuitively simple interface on their cell
phones that is customized to their home control configuration. Cell Link is currently compatible with most major cellular carriers in North

Pricing and Availability
Hawkings HomeRemote and other compatible HomeRemote accessories can be purchased
now directly from the HomeRemote Online Store (www.homeremote.net). HomeRemote will be available nationwide from CompUSA and other E-tailers and
distributors beginning July 15, 2007. The HomeRemote Gateway plus Remote Control has a Manufacturer Suggested Retail
Price (MSRP) of $229.99, and the HomeRemote Wireless Video Camera has a MSRP of
$179.99. All HomeRemote products will come with a 1-Year Warranty and 24 hours/7
days a week technical support, including firmware updates.
