Using a single ISP user account, this router allows multiple computers to share the same Broadband Internet connection at no additional cost. More specifically, up to 254 users can simultaneously access the Broadband DSL/Cable Internet using just a single IP account. The PN9249 only requires one ISP account and one Internet address (supplied by your DSL/Cable provider) to allow every computer on your network to simultaneously access the Internet through your DSL/Cable modem. The VPN (Virtual Private Network) Pass-through feature allows you to have fast, reliable and secure access to your corporate network via a public Internet network.

Share Your Broadband DSL/Cable with Multiple Computers

The PN9249 is packed with features. It utilizes Dynamic NAT (Network Address Translation) to provide Firewall Protection and expand your existing network without affecting existing IP based account schemes. It supports Visible Computer and Port Mapping technology to allow you to host and remotely access Web, Email and FTP servers. The PN9249 has a built-in DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol). It utilizes DHCP Server for your LAN and DHCP Client for your WAN. Therefore, there is no need to configure each IP address. It also supports up to 32 DMZ (De-Military Zone) Hosts and Port Mapping technology to allow you to host Web, Email and FTP servers.

Managing the PN9249 is simple as well. The Web-based management makes it easy to configure from anywhere using a web browser. This Router can also be easily firmware upgraded using your Web Browser or TFTP. Furthermore, it is compatible with all standard Internet applications.
